18th 19th century Qajar period straight double etched engraved blade sword
Very nice example of islamic revival Qajar period sword with snake running through the centre
silver wire work inlay in handle ,
male figure appears on one side and female face appear on the other
pwrsian / islamic verse written from start to end covering both sides of double etched blade
3 feet in length
with original wooden sheath present ( which is very rare to find ) usually they are lost , sheath is broken with continuous use of taking blade out and putting it back in again .
